A Deeper Dive

A few more seconds, deeper reflections.

As you mature and take control of your own destiny, it's easy to realize that attempting to accomplish more and more makes you feel less and less.

There is no end to more. Even the search for self-improvement becomes interminable, and seeking an ideal you—a complete, 100% happy self—can only lead to despair.

Once you realize this, it's simple to get past limitless expansion and focus on what you could have done in the first place: doing what you would regret not having done, which is also what you're supposed to be doing.

Could less goals lead you to more joy?
